ARCLIFFE Bucharest advised FPE Capital in the acquisition of Masstech

ARCLIFFE Bucharest office has assisted FPE Capital, the leading UK-based growth equity investor, on the Romanian segment of the multi-jurisdictional acquisition of digital media workflow and storage automation provider Masstech.
Masstech provides innovative software solutions and expertise for media organizations in order to allow them to better manage valuable digital media content and related information throughout a relevant product lifecycle.
The acquisition of Masstech was simultaneous with SGL (another digital media workflow and storage automation provider), with the newly merged entity being headquartered in the UK.
FPE Capital said the volume of video content produced around the world is increasing rapidly, which poses challenges for broadcasters when it comes to storing and moving content through the production and distribution chain.
The Romanian team was led by partner, Edward Dobre.
